A retired professor of mathematics at the University of Hawaii where she taught for 17 years. She also taught in Pohnpei, Japan and American Samoa and was a Fulbright grant recipient at Cornwall College, Montego Bay, Jamaica. Survived by stepson, Ross Reed; stepdaughter, Marcia Reed Whythes; sisters, Ruth Collyer and Selma Harbour; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Service 5 p.m. Wednesday at Atherton Chapel, Central Union Church. No flowers. Aloha attire. Donations to Waikiki Aquarium or charity of choice.
